Introduction to pics of one vertex:
In geometry, vertex is a special kind of point. Vertex is the geometry shape. Two or more straight lines meeting the common point is called as vertex. Vertex is corner point of the given diagram. The plural of the vertex is called as vertices. In this article we see detailed about the pics of one vertex.
Example Diagram for the Pics of One Vertex:
In this above diagram given lines are A and B. These two lines are meeting the common point is O. Point O is the vertex of this diagram.
Two line meet at vertex is formed by the angle. If the line is intersected or crossed is not a vertex. The common end point of the two or more line segment is formed by the vertex. Is this topic Graphing Polynomials hard for you? Watch out for my coming posts.
Example 1: Pics of One Vertex:
Find the distance of the given two points (5, 7) (8, 10)
Solution:
In this problem given vertex are (5, 7) (8, 10)
In the following formula is used to find the distance of the two vertexes.
D = `sqrt((x-x_1)^2+(y-y_1)^2)`
x - x1 = 8 – 5 = 3
y - y1 = 10 - 7 = 3
Substitute the value for x - x1, and y - y1 in the above equation.
D = `sqrt((3^2)+(3^2))`
D = `sqrt(9+9)`
D = `sqrt(18)`
D = 4.24
The distance of the vertex is = 4.24
Example 2: Pics of One Vertex:
Find the distance of the given two points (6, 9) (12, 13)
Solution:
In this problem given vertex are (6, 9) (12, 13)
In the following formula is used to find the distance of the two vertexes.
D = `sqrt((x-x_1)^2+(y-y_1)^2)`
x - x1 = 12 – 6 = 6
y - y1 = 13 - 9 = 4
Substitute the value for x - x1, and y - y1 in the above equation.
D = `sqrt((6^2)(4^2))`
D = `sqrt(36+16)`
D = `sqrt(52)`
D = 7.21
The distance of the vertex is = 7.21
